Share an address

Connecting a wallet usually shares its public address with a website. It is different from signing a transaction or granting spending permission.

What does this signature do?

A signing request may be a login, transaction or token permission. Some off-chain signatures can authorise spending later.

Check the spender and amount

For token approvals, inspect the spender and allowance. A large allowance can remain usable after the action you intended.

Disconnecting is not revoking

Disconnecting a site does not automatically revoke token approvals. Review permissions through a trusted tool, and decline requests you do not understand.
